Vintage laces ATC swap and a sweet nest giveaway

Recently, I participated in a vintage lace ATC swap hosted by Kimberly of ArtJoyStuff.

Given my textile obsession, I was completely smitten by this swap!

Here is the vintage lace ATC I received from Kimberly.

It was so beautifully packaged too!  When I opened it I know I gasped out loud.

I love the way she combined refined lace with tattered fabric, sweet buttons and a darling image.

Today I was reminded that some people define happiness by a destination in life they want to get to.

Why wait?  You can choose to find the good things where you are now and embrace the journey.

I have never offered a giveaway until now.

I thought the appropriate day would present itself when I would reach something monumental like my first 100 posts or a blogaversary.

Why wait?  For me, it is not about the number of posts or time ticked off in a calendar.

For me, it is about YOU.

This blog experience has opened up a wonderful community of people who inspire me, make me laugh, cry and woo hoo right along with you.
